The reason we have “Acceptable Use” rules is to keep our users happy. If someone violates the terms of acceptable use by sending spam, Salesmanna may not work as well for the rest of our users. You, the customer, are responsible for your actions. If we find that you’re violating our policies, sending spam, and putting the rest of us in danger, we’ll terminate your account.
What you can’t do:
Using Salesmanna (and almost every other Email service out there) you may not send:
1. Pornography or other sexually explicit Emails
2. Emails offering to sell illegal goods or services
3. Emails that violate CAN-SPAM Laws
4. Emails which are offensive
5. Emails which promote anything illegal
6. Email that harass any person or group of persons
Because of the deliverability of some industries’ emails, we have to, unfortunately, limit who uses our software in order to protect the majority of our customers. If your business fits into the categories below, we cannot allow you to use our software:
2. Escort & dating services
3. Work from home, make money on online, and lead generation opportunities
4. Online trading, day trading tips, or stock market-related content
5. Gambling services or products
6. Multi-level marketing
7. Credit repair and get out of debt opportunities
8. Mortgages and loans
9. Adult novelty items or references
10. List brokers or list rental services
If you send this sort of content, most email services providers won’t be able to help you. You might want to look into setting up your own mail server.
You may not:
1. Send Spam. By "spam," we mean the definition on the Spamhaus website. In short, spam is "unsolicited bulk email."
2. Put into your Email any material that wasn’t created by you, provided for you to use, or that would violate anyone's rights. That includes text, photos, graphics, and other content.
3. Use any misleading or incorrect names, addresses, email addresses, or subject lines in any emails created or sent using our software.
4. Share your password.
5. Decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any of the software on our Website, or in any way used or downloaded from the website Salesmanna.com.
6. Send any emails to purchased, rented, or third-party lists.
7. Modify your lists of subscribers or recipients in any way to avoid billing thresholds.
We at Salesmanna must help keep our software high on the list of “good senders.” Because of this, we must prevent spam-related abuse of our software. Our reputation simply depends on it. Please only send emails to those who have:
Given you written or electronic permission to email them and have not withdrawn that permission.
Given you permission to email them in the past 12 months.
Didn’t unsubscribe from your emails before you used Salesmanna.
Didn’t object to promotional content you sent them in the past 12 months.
Purchased something from you or your business in the past year.
If, for any reason, you are receiving an unusually high number of SPAM complaints, Salesmanna has the right to terminate your contract. If we allow our users to send SPAM related mail, all of Salesmanna’s customers will be in danger of having undeliverable emails. If you do not have proof that each of your recipients opted-in to your emails, do not import that list. If you do violate any of these terms Salesmanna has the right to terminate your use.
What you should do:
If you’re sending a campaign to a list of subscribers that hasn’t heard from you In a while, remind them who you are and why they’re on your list. This will avoid them marking your email as spam, thus endangering future emails from you as the sender.
Be mindful of which recipients get email campaigns. It usually isn’t wise to send a campaign to all subscribers. Instead, use the tags in Salesmanna to break the campaigns into more personalized emails.
